Upgrade Home Services recently completed a full HVAC and water heater replacement project after a homeowner discovered mold concerns around an old wood-framed pedestal during a home inspection. The customer requested a fast replacement using durable, non-wood materials for a cleaner, safer, and longer-lasting setup.

For the HVAC replacement, our team completed refrigerant recovery, disconnected and reconnected the line set, performed nitrogen and vacuum testing, fabricated a custom sheet metal plenum box and enclosure, adjusted the supply plenum, and removed and disposed of the old HVAC base box and framing.

For the water heater replacement, we removed the old unit, reconnected the water lines, installed proper water heater strapping, and used additional materials needed for a safe and professional installation.

The finished result transformed the area into a cleaner and more reliable HVAC and water heater setup designed for better airflow, improved safety, and long-term performance.
